in case you were wondering, this is what the form of gopisvara mahadeva looks like at vamsivata.

this is my daughter's sketch that she did while we were there. pretty good, right?

my husband's sketch was left with the murti wallah in vraj. we'll probably never see it again.

Still relishing your Vrindavan posts ;-). Pity you don't have a copy of Jayadeva's sketch (or that you guys didn't keep the original and given the murti walla a copy)...it looks really good from what I can make out from the photograph.

I wish we could have kept it too. if you click on the picture of my husband drawing you can see the sketch a little closer. the positive is that a friend of ours in bringing home our gopisvara mahadeva deity in a couple of weeks. I can't wait to see what he looks like!
